 Winner of the NCEM Composer Award 2012, Ben Rowarth is a London based composer, also performing regularly as a conductor and bass baritone. His music has seen broadcasts on BBC Radio 3 and received exceptional reviews from BBC Music Magazine, Arts Desk, Classical Source and Choir and Organ where it is described as "daring" and "inspired".

The Fieri Consort perform The Turn and its accompanying work, Monteverdi’s Lamento D’Arianna in Cork, Ireland.

Soft Hands will receive its World Premiere at the wedding of my close friend David Todd in Germany.

Autumn 2019 - Regina Caeli, SAT, 3’

Khoros Choir, director Patrick Allies will be recording Regina Caeli later in 2019.

March 2019 - The Tallis Scholars

On 14th March Ben will join The Tallis Scholars for their concert in Berlin.

April 2019 - OAE, Simon Rattle, Peter Sellars

Bach St John Passion, conducted by Simon Rattle and staged by Peter Sellars, will be given in multiple European performances with The Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment.

The New Consort gave ‘The Turn’ its transatlantic premiere with a performance in New York (USA).

December 2018 - There is no rose, SSATB, 6’

Release of new CD by Suzi Digby and ORA, “The Mystery of Christmas” following a beautiful rendition sung live at the Temple Winter Festival.

November 2018 - For The Fallen, SATB, 5’

Fulham Camerata performed the World Premiere of ‘For The Fallen’ with their new conductor, Harry Castle.

September 2018 - The Short Walk of a Madman, SSAATTBB solo voices, 30’

Release of new CD by The Fieri Consort, “The Unknown Traveller” for which the work was commissioned.
